Pickle ball, Avatar, and a Baseball game - June 29

Both Jon and Abby are on a swim team and up early during the weekdays to go to the pool. The girls were still asleep out in the guest house while the guys minus sleepy head Chad were eating breakfast with the kids. Chad awoke, some of the girls finally came in and the askers just left us at the house. It was amazing how this family blessed us while we stayed in there home. To trust eight college kids alone at your house says a lot of what kind of family the askers are.

Well we are all eating breakfast and Danielle finally came in, got some food and then disappeared. We later found out around 3 that she went back to bed and did not get back until 3'oclock. While she was sleeping we watched Avatar and waited for the bike parts to come in. Finally got the phone call and went to the bike shop to get the bikes all fixed up. Once again Mr. Asker showed what kinda of a person he is and drove us to the bike shop to get them fixed. It took about 4 hours to get all three bikes back to working order and bike back up the hill to the askers house. When me, Amy, and Lucia returned, we came back to a mad house. We found everyone running around drawing on huge poster boards, and most of them were wet or drying off. While we were gone, everyone had a water fight with the kids, jarod and tamara wrestled each other into a swampy pond, and played another rundown of pickle ball. John had a little league baseball game and his whole family and almost the whole town was going to be at the game. So we spelled out on the posters WE LOVE JON! And went to the game. We piled into what the askers call the babysitter car, yes the eight us, and went down to the game. This was the first time some of us met Mrs. Asker, she was working and came home after a overnight stay in another town for work....i forget what she does..lol

So we piled in to this car and made a pretty big scene at the field with all of us getting out of the car and the huge signs we made. John loved it so much he really did not pay attention to the game, he just smiled and waved at us. Then a huge storm rolled in and postponed the game for a little bit. But this was good cuz we found out that it was two hot dog Tuesday! A dollar got you two hot dogs, let's just say they did not have any hot dogs left after we left the stand. The game was finally canceled due to lightning, and we headed back to the house. Now remember that all the bikes were fixed and we could have left that afternoon. But we decided to watch avatar and play pickle ball all day...and plus the askers said we could stay another night. So we did not to be rude and say no. Mrs. Asker made us an amazing dinner that was so good we stuffed our selves to the point it hurt, then she put ice cream in front of us.

We crawled to the couch and watched UP and talked into the night. Slowly people started to go to bed, but me, Chad, and Jarod were in bed already waiting for everyone else to leave the living room. But the three of us were out before the half way point of the movie. The sun set on yet another amazing day at the askers to make this the second night they have opened up their house to us.
